This place is awesome! I needed a small piece of foam for a baby bassinet & travelled down from Yukon. I had previously gone to a different foam store & was told I couldn't purchase a piece from him. Discount foam has many years of experience & showed me the difference between two chunks of foam, selling me a cheaper one. I was very grateful for his knowledge. I will be taking my foam back to the Yukon to make a cover for the bassinet. Thank You so much. I will be back!

I went searching for some thick yet inexpensive foam to make wooden upholstered benches for my kitchen nook. Discount foam had a huge variety of thicknesses all at very reasonable prices (possibly my cheapest DIY project). The store will cut it for you at the dimensions you request. My bench has lasted for a year so far and is plush yet firm to sit on.

You will not find a more congenial and accommodating owner than John at Discount Foam. Not only that, John knows foam! Just as important, his customer service & integrity is beyond reproach and I promise that you won’t find more reasonable prices for quality products. Believe me, before finding this store, I paid a lot more elsewhere for foam products. John helped me a great deal and this visit I purchased a sofa bed mattress. I will always return here. John’s attitude is ‘I try to be the best I can be’, and it really shows.

I found John and Discount Foam about 5 years ago ~ when I was looking for a lower lumbar support pillow ~ and was horrified by the prices I saw in orthopedic stores and other top foam shops. It is located on the lower end of Fraser, near E.44 ave ~ lots of parking in behind the store in adjoining lots, plus street parking. Upon entering, it is a tad messy and chaotic, they carry A LOT of types of foam, and they're stacked up to the ceiling in parts. Mattresses, pillows, camping foamies ~ this place is one-stop foam shopping for everyone! John is VERY friendly, and very knowledgeable about foam ~ explaining the different types, and densities I was asking about. I got a large lumbar support pillow with a burgundy zippered cover for only $69+tax~ other stores wanted $100+ for the same item. I recently went back for a support foam mattress ~ John brought out 3, getting me to lie on a wooden bed in the show area, and try them out for personal preference. I needed an odd size he did not have in stock, so he custom cut me the size I needed ~ on the spot. This mattress again was 30% less than the competition and I could not have asked for more friendly, and knowledgeable service. I cannot recommend Discount Foam highly enough ~ the best prices and best service anywhere!

I got my brand new latex foam mattress and nice wooden bed frame delivered today and I couldn't be happier. Jon and Sean were both so awesome! Answering all the questions I could think of and helping me make a really informed purchase. (they know ALOT about foam and are both super friendly!) I also found the price to be more affordable than at other places selling latex foam mattresses. Jon (the owner) was right on time for the delivery, the setup of the bed was swift, and the whole experience chatting with him was great. :) I have now been lying on my new bed for a few hours and it feels wonderful! I should have switched to a foam mattress years ago! I recommend Discount Foam to anyone looking for a new mattress (or people looking for any kind of foam for their foam needs)

I believe any place that has exceptional customer service deserves 5 stars!! I bought a new tool box and wanted to get a cheaper alternative foam to the expensive insert you could have bought with the tool box, so I researched and found this place. I came in and the gentleman who helped me was super friendly and funny. Listened to what I was doing and even gave me some great advice to what I was doing. In the end, I left a happy customer and got exactly what I needed. Now I have a really sweet tool box!! Thank you!
